Continuing the theme, this is an oldie but I still look at this everyday in my home. This abstract painting started off as a doodle on the back of a piece of junk mail.

Capturing the journey of your paintings

Have you ever considered taking photos of your paintings as they begin to take shape and come alive?  I don't recall when or why I started this, but I found it very facinating to take a moment each day and snap a photo of my progress.   Once complete, I find myself flipping back and forth, and watching my paintings develop. 

My plan for the next few posts, is to share the journey of my paintings with you.  I hope you enjoy!

Wall decor for kids!

Back to the topic of a room decor-  This time, kids rooms!  A mom contacted me for 9 inch Wall letters for her son's room, and requested that I match the bedding.  (see picture below).  

They key to matching anything is to pull the main colors that catch your eye right away.  In this case, blue, green and red stood out to me.   I created these letters to match Eli's room, and they were a hit!
