I started off by finding a Peter Rabbit book on Ebay, that contained a lot of illustrations. While it hurt me to rip apart this book, it was put to good use, and as you can see it was for a great cause. :) I then decoupaged the pages to the letters, and applied coordinating paint to the edges to create a one-of-a-kind gift.
Would you believe me if I told you that I have never seen my wall letters actually hanging on a wall? :) Thank you to Riley's mom who sent me a picture of the finished product!

We jsut LOVE our wall letters! They were the biggest hit at my baby shower, nobody could believe how amazing they are!!!!! Thank you so much, they have truly completed our littles ones nursery!

This is a GREAT idea! Very fun and unique. Where did you buy the block letters? I love the size and thickness of them!
ReplyDeleteDo you happen to know what edition the big golden book you used for this was? I LOVE this and want to get the right book with great illustrations. Looking on ebay, but not seeing that particular book.
